Hello!
I would like to tell you more about the city I live in, Lyon, in France. I will make you discover a few of my favorite places. There is much more than what I am about to show you in Lyon, but the places I chose for this blog are the ones where I actually hangout with my friends, family and by myself.
Some are highlights of the city and you'll find them in every travel guide, others are a little less - but I love them all.
I am not in Lyon while writing those lines, so I did not get the chance to take the pictures myself - which is a shame, I would have loved doing it -, so I would like to let you know that the pictures in this blog are not mine (except for that first one, which I took last summer).
If you ever get the chance to come to Lyon, do it! It is a great city, not too big (almost everything is at a wlking or bicycle distance) and not too small (so you do not get bored). The city counts several schools and universities, which attracted a young population of students. Also, Lyon is a very old city, full of history; one can actually watch the city evolve when looking at the architecture from West to East! The other thing I love about Lyon is the food there... Lyonners love cooking with products of good quality and they master the art of enjoying a meal step by step. I think they are the definition of "bons vivants".
The bottom line is: there is: there is always something to do or see in Lyon. Come visit!
